Arsenal 1-0 Portsmouth
Soccer Saturday analysis
Phil Thompson watched them return to winning ways with a familiar 1-0 success, but felt it was anything but the same old Arsenal.
Arsene Wenger's out-of-sorts side moved back into third in the Premier League thanks to a William Gallas header nine minutes from time.
The goal at last gave the Gunners something to smile about but Thompson was adamant that it could not paper over the cracks he has seen appear in their armoury.
