Seeing Red

Kammy revels in Liverpool's crushing victory at Newcastle but is stunned by Ricardo Fuller's antics.

Sunday's demolition job at St James' Park had nothing to do with a change of ownership - instead it was the work of an excellent Liverpool outfit.

On the day that owner Mike Ashley took Newcastle off the market the Reds, inspired by Steven Gerrard, cruised to a 5-1 victory and it's fair to say they could have won by a lot more goals.

To be honest, I always felt it was going to be a hard fixture for Newcastle coming off the back of the 2-1 defeat to Wigan and the injuries to Jose Enrique and Habib Beye. But take nothing away from Liverpool - this result was more about their fantastic form and they deserve to be leading the way at the turn of the year.
